The annual lighting of IMAGINE PEACE TOWER took place in the evening at 8pm local time on the island of Viðey in Reykjavik, Iceland in honor of all the activists of the world; past, present and future. She asks everyone to join together and let the power of light become a collective expression of the desire for peace and harmony on the planet.

IMAGINE PEACE TOWER was relit by Yoko Ono in Reykjavik on Oct 9th 2012. It will relight every night until Dec 8th, then Dec 21st–28th & Dec 31st 2012.
